Downtown Chicago

What a fun day! After a great day with our friends, Renee and Odell, we set off early-ish for downtown Chicago. I have to say one thing about Chicago, the train system ROCKS!!! We parked at a garage near O'Hare (which cost us $2 for 12 hours) and bought two all-day passes for the train/bus system ($5 each), and headed downtown. We tooled around in the area of Millennium Park much of the day, finding a few caches along the way. About mid-afternoon, we headed out to the near west suburbs to meet our friend, Heather (for those of you who came to the wedding, she was the singer). She works for Lyon & Healy as the coordinator for their recital hall. We got a tour of the plant, which was very cool. Amy and I took Heather out to a local pizza joint for dinner before heading out. We ended up in La Porte, IN for the night.

Like I said, what a fun day!
