Back to the Routine

Pretty darned good news in the weight department, I thought. I have to admit, I was pretty surprised.

I hit the gym again this morning, this time with technological accoutrements. My parents gave me a heart rate monitor that straps to my chest and beams to a watch. Pretty cool, though I couldn't get it to work this morning. Amy and I will have to play with it tonight. Additionally, Amy gave me an iPod Nano, to which I've uploaded 5-6 albums. It helped make the workout go faster.

Speaking of the workout, I did 30 minutes each on the recumbent bike and treadmill. I'll probably do resistance training tomorrow, but then again, maybe I won't :)

I didn't take my lunch today, and since I grabbed lunch from the cafeteria, I did my rabbit impression again. Not quite as much as last time, but it was still a lot...

Diet Update

Breakfast 12/27:
South Beach bar
8 oz light yogurt
1 largish apple (4-5 oz)
12 oz milk
30 oz water
20 oz coffee

I had 32 oz water between breakfast and lunch

Lunch 12/27:
16 oz salad and mixed veggies w/ fat-free italian
32 oz water

Afternoon Snack 12/27:
2 oz cheeseball w/ 5 club crackers

Dinner 12/27:
Mac and cheese (~1 c cooked) w/ ham (~ 5 oz)
3 oz carrots
12 oz water
